David is a Production Designer & Supervising Art Director based in Vancouver, Canada. Having previously worked in architecture in London, UK, for over 10 years, David has been designing sets for film and television since moving to Canada, in 2003.
David began his career working on network TV series, before transitioning to Feature Films for many years. David had already been art directing for a number of years before working on his first streaming series Lost In Space, S1 and Altered Carbon, S2. His film art director credits include War For The Planet Of The Apes (2017), Noelle (2019), and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022); as an assistant art director / set designer he has worked on such movies as Man Of Steel (2013), Elysium (2013), Godzilla (2014) and The Seventh Son (2014). His series art direction credits include Lost in Space (2018), Altered Carbon (2020) & Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies (2023). Recently, David was Production Designer for Global TV's Family Law series (1-3), and is currently working as Supervising Art Director on the second season of The Last Of Us for HBO.
